Aatman Foundation, registered as National Level not for profit, non- government, voluntary development organization, registered under Society Registration act XXI of 1860, with the Registrar of Societies, Government of Uttar Pradesh. Aatman Foundation is the outcome of the efforts of local youth having passion to bring about changes in the lives of marginalized. This group started with small awareness generation campaign on various local problems by convening people’s partnership and mandate. Aatman Foundation started working like this in 2003 but it continued only two years and the need for a legal identity was felt for raising funds and extending support to more people. Therefore, it was thought of getting it registered under the Society Registration Act XXI of 1860.
